Evolution of Shree Abhinav Mahavir Dham

When trustee's of Shree Vardhaman Jain Boarding House visited Miladiya to pay respect to Shree Gunratna Suriswarji Maharaj Saheb and Shree Rashmiratra Suriswarji Maharaj Saheb, trustee's requested a direction towards bringing the organization on a higher level. During the discussion, trustees requested guidance from Maharaj Saheb for betterment of education for young Jain Community members.
On this matter, Maharaj Saheb suggested to build a Educational Center (Jain Dham) that will helps jain people to get better knowledge with Jainism values and culture. After a brief discussion along the trust member, Trustee's decided of building Shree Abhinav Mahavir Dham for better of jain society.

After a long time, trustee's went to Rata Mahavirji to meet with Maharaj Saheb, where they requested Maharaj Saheb to Guide the organization in building Shree Abhinav Mahavir Dham. Shree Maharaj Saheb agreed on trustee's requested and suggested ospicious day for the Bhumi Pujan. With the devine wishes of Acharya Shree Vijay Gunratna Suriswarji Maharaj Saheb and Shree Rashmiratna Suriswarji Maharaj Saheb, Secretary Shree Shantilalji Mannaji Shobhawat Family(Khivandi) did Bhumi Pujan on 24th June 2005 and Shree Mohanlalji Kesarimalji Family(Bankli) did Shilanyas on 25th June 2005.

On 30-11-2008 "Eighteen Abhishekh" were done in temples of Jain Boarding House, Sumerpur. As the "Abhishekh" were done, the stone was taken off from the Volvo Trolla. Right then it started raining, as if Lord Indra is also doing "Abhishekh" of the stone that would take shape of Shree Mahavir Swami's statue.

It took 11 months to give a shape of Shree Mahavir Swami's statue. Now, this great statue is of 70 tonns and 29.25 feet (351 inches) tall.


On 27-11-2009 Shree Mahavir Swami's statue was installed in Shree Abhinav Mahavir Dham temple.
